This is my first Menu Plan Monday post! I have done the menu planning thing off and on for quite a few years. Five, I think. I think this is the longest I have continually done it, though. Here is my menu for this week.
Ooop, I forgot to link to OrgJunkie's site. Here it is:http://orgjunkie.com/
Monday: Tuna Casserole
Tuesday: BBQ Beef Fajita's (new recipe)
Wednesday: Chicken Italiano Skillet
Thursday: Hamburger Casserold (new recipe)
Friday: Pot Roast in the crock pot
Saturday: It's up to Rob, since I am working. It'll probably be fish sticks or hamburgers on the bbq.
Sunday: I usually leave Sunday open and Rob and I decide together that day what we'll have. It's usually something on the bbq. We bbq ALOT!
I work Wed, Thurs, Fri, and Saturday evenings. I *try* to make dinner for Rob and the kids those nights, but it doesn't always happen. I do this to help my hubby out and to make sure my kids aren't eating pizza, fish sticks and hamburgers the majority of the week!
Welcome to bloggyville!! Those BBQ Beef Fajitas sound SO GOOD!!
ReplyDeleteyour menu sounds really yummy. Hope the new recipes are good.
ReplyDeleteI think you should call it "Because I said so"
ReplyDeleteMenu sounds good, all but the tuna. You know how I LOVE me some tuna.
Not.
How's that for a blast from the 80's? LOL
Hi~
ReplyDeleteI just came across your blog.
Your plan sounds yummy!!
Doesn't planning make it easier.
Debra
Hey, Bridg, I think that's a great idea for the name of my blog! Yeah, I don't think R is too impressed with the tuna, but he'll live!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments, everyone. And Debra, planning does make it SO much easier. I also like planning cuz it helps me to remember to get something out of the freezer in the morning to defrost all day.
ReplyDeleteYou are a wise woman! I need to do that more often. I just took my first stab at freezer meals. Four of us got together and made 6 different recipes x4. So, we each took home 6 meals! It is awesome. I couldn't wait to use our first one tonight.
