MMMM, Jell-O Cake

I promised Rob I would make him a jell-O cake this weekend and I thought I would share the recipe with you all. It is so yummy.

First you bake a vanilla or yellow cake. (this time I used a strawberry cake mix cuz that's what I had on hand) Let it cool. Meanwhile make a small package of vanilla pudding. After the cake is cooled, make 6-8 large holes in the cake (I usually use the handle end of a large mixing spoon). Then boil 1 cup of water and dissolve a small package of jell-o in the water. Pour the hot jell-o into the holes in the cake and if there is any left, jut pour it all over the cake. Put the cake in the fridge to cool off. Next, mix the pudding with 1/2 to 3/4 package of a small tub of Cool Whip and frost the cold cake with it.

Enjoy!!
